I work at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Research, and Community, leading a global team dedicated to empowering developers to build the next generation of AI-powered products.

Currently: Leading Developer Experience at Google DeepMind

Our mission is to empower developers to build with AI by providing a great developer experience for Google DeepMind’s AI products, including AI Studio, the Gemini API, and Gemma.

As the Developer Experience Lead, I drive developer success and product adoption by ensuring our developer products are intuitive, powerful, and easy to build with. My work involves:

  • Strategic Integration: Partnering with developers’ favorite tools and platforms to ensure seamless integration.
  • Developer Advocacy & Empathy: Influencing product roadmaps, leading educational initiatives, and crafting world-class documentation based on deep developer empathy.
  • End-to-End Lifecycle: My team is involved from early technical designs and feature ideation to successful launches and continuous iteration.
  • Model Launches: Leading the developer experience and launches for major models including Gemini 3, Gemma, and Nano Banana.

Open ML has a big place in my heart, and hence I’m very involved in GDM open model efforts, such as MedGemma, EmbeddingGemma, and more.

Career Highlights

Hugging Face | Chief Llama Officer / Head of Platform and Community (Previously)

I spent several years at the heart of the open ML revolution. I led multidisciplinary teams and open-source collaborations that shaped the ecosystem.

  • Launched Hugging Face Spaces, scaling from 500 to over 400k community-built demos.
  • Built key partnerships with labs (Meta, Google, etc.) and open-source communities and established technical integrations with libraries like spaCy and Sentence Transformers.
  • Created and scaled the Developer Advocacy Engineering and Moonshot organizations (25 people when I left).

Google | Software Engineer & Product Manager

Built ML models and infrastructure for Google Assistant and served as a 20% Product Manager for the TensorFlow Graphics team.

Location & Connection

🇨🇭 Currently based in Zurich. 🌎 Lived in Mexico, Peru, and Panama. Internships in Seattle and Mountain View.
